Over the past two decades, Dr. Alam has established an unparalleled reputation as a fetal medicine specialist and radiologist in Kolkata. His expertise encompasses first-trimester screening, fetal echocardiography, non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT), and diagnostic fetal interventions. Across distinguished clinics—including Care IVF, Fetomat Foundation, Institute of Fetal Medicine—he has managed complex fetal conditions, from abdominal wall defects and fetal growth restriction to interpreting subtle fetal soft markers, always with a patient-centric approach and collaborative care.

Beyond clinical excellence, Dr. Alam is passionate about advancing the field—organizing and leading live ultrasound workshops as part of the Ian Donald Center of Excellence Program, where he serves as an influential faculty member.
